Half Day Workshop – three and ½ hours

This is a non-denominational workshop for people looking for a grounding tool to bring them into the present moment. Lecture, discussion, question and answer, demonstration and participation are all teaching techniques that are used.

The workshop begins with discussion of the history and use of traditional prayer beads. A demonstration of beading techniques is given, the atmosphere is very informal. Questions and answers are asked while the participants are working on their beads. Interaction between the students occurs while they are making their beads. Practices for using the beads are discussed as the class progresses.

Participants will be charged $50 each. This fee will include stringing materials, simple beads and instruction. Participants are encouraged to bring beads, amulets or personal tokens to include on their strands. Additional amulets and Sacred Wheels of Peace will be available for purchase during the workshop.
